The Office Versmold was an office in the district of Halle (Westf.) In North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany with its seat in Versmold . The office was dissolved by the Bielefeld Act on January 1, 1973, the legal successor being the city of Versmold.

history
The cantons established during the French period (1806–1813) were replaced by the Landgemeindeordnung for the Province of Westphalia in 1841 with effect from 1843 by offices, including the Office of Versmold. These were the second lowest administrative instance and were initially appointed by the government through official men later out of office mayors. After the Second World War, the heads of the offices were called Amtsdirektoren. By the Bielefeld Act , the office was dissolved on January 1, 1973 and the communities merged to form the city of Versmold.
