Bielefeld law

The "Law for the reorganization of the communities and districts of the reorganization area Bielefeld (Bielefeld law)" , which was passed on September 28, 1972 by the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament , includes the territorial reform for a large part of the northern and central administrative district of Detmold at the level of the municipalities and Circles. The new town of Harsewinkel came from the administrative district of Münster to the administrative district of Detmold. The law came into force on January 1, 1973.
