Lashorst is a town with 282 inhabitants and is a district of Preußisch Oldendorf in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Minden-Lübbecke and known for the late baroque-classical moated castle Hüffe . The former Hüffe manor district was incorporated on October 1, 1928.

Until the end of 1972 Lashorst was an independent municipality in the Alswede district ( Lübbecke district ). On January 1, 1973, the place was incorporated into Preußisch Oldendorf.
