The law on the reorganization of municipalities in the district of Grevenbroich was promulgated on June 30, 1969 and restructured some municipalities in the district of Grevenbroich (from October 1, 1969: District of Grevenbroich). Four congregations were merged into two new congregations and two offices were dissolved.
The Düsseldorf Act resulted in a further restructuring of the municipalities in the Grevenbroich district on January 1, 1975, including those that only came into being in 1969.
