Location of Ahlsen-Reineberg in Hüllhorst
|
Ahlsen-Reineberg is a village in the municipality of Hüllhorst in the Minden-Lübbecke district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The place has around 1000 inhabitants.
Until December 31, 1972, Ahlsen-Reineberg was an independent municipality in the Hüllhorst district ( Lübbecke district ). The "locality" (in the sense of the statutes of the municipality of Hüllhorst) consists of the places or former farmers' communities Ahlsen in the east and Reineberg in the west, whereby today only Ahlsen can be described as a place with a closed village image. Only in Ahlsen was there a notable increase in buildings and residents in the 20th century, especially due to new development areas. Reineberg consists of scattered individual farms with no real village center. In Reinberg, the number of house numbers only increased from 28 to 32 between 1875 and 1976; The only noteworthy new building was the construction of the now former conference and educational center of the Evangelical Church, the Reineberg House , on the edge of the forest of the Wiehen Mountains. The watercourse with the official name "Reinberger Bach" forms the border between the former districts of Ahlsen and Reineberg. The village of Ahlsen-Reineberg is the northernmost area of the Ravensberger Mulde. The Wiehengebirge , to which a narrow strip of the village belongs, forms a natural border to the north.
church
The village of Ahlsen-Reineberg is part of the Hüllhorst parish. Until the beginning of the 18th century, however, the Ahlsen farmers were assigned to the neighboring parish of Gehlenbeck. The Kirchweg, still so called today, is a forest path through the Wiehen Mountains, reminiscent of the arduous path to Sunday church going through the mountains. The development of church history in Reineberg, which was closely connected to Reineberg Castle, which was assigned to the parish of Lübbecke, initially took place separately from Ahlsen. It was not until 1846 that a large part of the Reineberg house numbers was parish off to Hüllhorst. Five house numbers, however, remained part of the parish of Lübbecke until 1965, before they could then also be assigned to the parish of Hüllhorst.
history
The village of Ahlsen was mentioned as Alehusen in the Minden fiefdom in 1290 . Later, in the feudal register 1437/1508, it was called Alderhusen there . Reineberg was first mentioned in 1221 with the Reineburg and then associated with the Reineberg office . Around the year 1844, the Ahlsen and Reineberg farming communities were merged into a political municipality of Ahlsen-Reineberg.
On January 1, 1973, Ahlsen-Reineberg was incorporated into Hüllhorst. As a result of the reorganization, uninhabited forest areas, the so-called Reineberger Hagen , with the site of the former Reineburg with an area of 0.99 km² came to the city of Lübbecke, which had previously belonged to the southern municipality of Ahlsen-Reineberg and reached up to the Obere Tilkenbreite . The mountain ridge has since formed the southern border to the municipality of Hüllhorst, or the Hüllhorst district of Ahlsen-Reineberg. Since then, the Kammweg has formed the northern border to Lübbecke.
