Vennebeck is a district of the town of Porta Westfalica in the Minden-Lübbecke district in East Westphalia .

Vennebeck is located south of the Weser Mountains and north and west of the Weser . The district is surrounded by other districts of the city of Porta Westfalica. In the east Vennebeck borders on Holzhausen , in the north on Costedt , in the west and south on Holtrup .

Vennebeck was first mentioned in 1029 in a document as Vanebeke.

Until the municipal reorganization on January 1, 1973, Vennebeck was an independent municipality with a total area of ​​around 4.02 km² and 1029 inhabitants. She belonged to the office of Hausberge in the Minden district . On December 31, 2017, Vennebeck had 1004 inhabitants.
