Rosenhagen is a district of Petershagen in the northeast of the Minden-Lübbecke district in East Westphalia .
geography
It is 9 km east of the city center; in the east Rosenhagen borders the community of Wiedensahl in the district of Schaumburg , Lower Saxony , in the north on the district Neuenknick , in the west on the district Ilse and in the southwest and south on the district Raderhorst .
history
Until the municipal reorganization on January 1, 1973, Rosenhagen was an independent municipality with a total area of around. 4.17 km² and 343 inhabitants (31 December 1972) and belonged to the Office Windheim to Lahde in Minden .

The local mayor is Jürgen Rohlfing.
Culture and sights
The old village school building is now used as a village community center.
An annual highlight in Rosenhagen is the shooting festival and the harvest festival every two years.
