The Windheim zu Lahde office was an office in what was then the Minden district in North Rhine-Westphalia with its seat in Lahde . The office was dissolved by the Bielefeld Act on December 31, 1972. The legal successor to the Windheim zu Lahde office is the city of Petershagen .
history
With the exception of the city of Schluesselburg , which was on the left bank of the Weser, the office extended east of the Weser and north of the city of Minden . In the north and east it bordered the state of Lower Saxony . The office was largely agricultural.
The Windheim Office was founded in 1843. In 1934 the city of Schluesselburg was added to the office from the dissolved office of Schlüsselburg .
At the time of the dissolution, the office had 22,600 inhabitants, was 148.30 km² and was divided into the city of Schluesselburg and the 22 other municipalities of Aminghausen , Bierde , Dankersen , Döhren , Frille , Gorspen-Vahlsen , Heimsen , Ilse , Ilserheide , Ilvese , Jössen , Lahde , Leteln , Neuenknick , Päpinghausen , Quetzen , Raderhorst , Rosenhagen , Seelenfeld , Wasserstraße , Wietersheim and Windheim . The communities of Aminghausen, Dankersen, Leteln and Päpinghausen were incorporated into the city of Minden; the other communities formed the new city of Petershagen with communities of the Petershagen office .
