The Dützen office was an office in the former Minden district in North Rhine-Westphalia with its seat in Dützen . The office was dissolved by the Bielefeld Act on December 31, 1972. The legal successor to the Dützen office is the city of Minden .

The office extended west of the Weser between the Wiehengebirge and the Bastauniederung . Of the offices in the former district, the Dützen office was most strongly oriented towards Minden.

At the time of the dissolution, the office had 16,751 inhabitants, was 47.38 km² and was divided into the eight communities of Barkhausen , Bölhorst , Dützen , Haddenhausen , Häverstädt , Oberlübbe , Rothenuffeln and Unterlübbe .
After it was founded in 1843, the municipalities of Eidinghausen , Volmerdingsen , Werste and Wulferdingsen also belonged to the Dützen office, but they moved to the Rehme office in 1851 .
