Windmill Dützen

Windmill Dützen

The exact date of construction of the "Hummelbecker Windmühle", as the Dützer Mühle has always been called after the oldest Dützer district, has not been established. Statements by the miller from Bölhorst at that time allow the conclusion that the mill was built between 1808 and 1813. Since the restoration between 1991 and 1993, the Wallholland with his high passage has again had a hood, a compass rose and wind-swept sail wings.

The windmill belongs to the Westphalian Mühlenstrasse .

Potts Park

The amusement park pott's park is located on a disused colliery on the northern slope of the Wiehengebirge . The park is an "adventure park" for children and adults from "0-99 years". Among other things, there are “adventurous rides” in the park.

traffic

The federal highway 65 extends in an east-west direction through Dützen. The Mittelland Canal runs north of Dützen .
