Nordstadt is a part of Minden , North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

The Nordstadt district is north of Minden city center . In the east it borders on the Weser (opposite are the districts of Rechtes Weserufer and Leteln-Aminghausen ), in the north on the districts of Todtenhausen and Kutenhausen , in the west on Minderheide and Bärenkämpen and in the south on the city center. The southern border is the Mittelland Canal .

traffic

The federal road 61 runs through the district in a north-south direction.

In the southern part of the district there is a railway line operated by Mindener Kreisbahnen GmbH (MKB), which is also used by the Minden Museum Railway . The Minden-Oberstadt station is used by the museum railway.

Attractions

The Minden waterway intersection is a special attraction .

The park-like north cemetery is also worth seeing.
