Marie-Claire Baldenweg (born March 27, 1954 in Solothurn , Switzerland ) is an international painter .

Life

Marie-Claire Baldenweg is married to the musician Pfuri Baldenweg . The relationship resulted in three children, Nora , Diego and Lionel Vincent . She lives with her family in Byron Bay, Australia . The hallmark of her work is that she has been using plastic bags as the main motif in her work since the early 1970s. Their style can be described as a kind of pop art and photorealism .
