Halle is the seat of the district court of Halle (Westphalia) , which is responsible for Borgholzhausen , Halle (Westphalia), Steinhagen , Versmold and Werther (Westphalia) in the Gütersloh district. Around 82,500 people live in the 301 km² judicial district .
