The District Court of Rheda-Wiedenbrück is a court of ordinary jurisdiction with its seat in Rheda-Wiedenbrück . It is one of the district courts sponsored by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

District Court District

The district court is responsible for the communities Herzebrock-Clarholz and Langenberg as well as for the cities of Rheda-Wiedenbrück and Rietberg in the district of Gütersloh . Around 100,000 people live in the 315 km² judicial district .

In addition, the district court of Rheda-Wiedenbrück is responsible for agricultural matters in the districts of Gütersloh and Rheda-Wiedenbrück.

Superior courts

The regional court overriding the Rheda-Wiedenbrück district court is the Bielefeld regional court , which in turn is subordinate to the Hamm Higher Regional Court .
