Location of Vehlage in Espelkamp

Vehlage is a town in the East Westphalian town of Espelkamp in North Rhine-Westphalia . Vehlage has about 600 inhabitants and is located in the west of the city of Espelkamp. The mayor is Friedhelm Meier (CDU).

Until December 31, 1972, Vehlage was an independent municipality in the Alswede district ( Lübbecke district ). On January 1, 1973, Vehlage became a district of the enlarged town of Espelkamp.

societies

  • SC blue-white. The sports club was founded in 1975 and has around 350 members (as of 2009). The sports offered are men's table tennis, women's and men's soccer.
  • Shooting club. It was founded in 1926. The Vehlage shooting club has over 130 members.
