With the formation of the district of North Friesland, the office was dissolved in 1970 and the communities formed the office Treene with the municipalities of the offices of Mildstedt and Ostenfeld . In 1975 the municipality of Schwabstedter Westerkoog and in 1976 the municipality of Hollbüllhuus were incorporated into Schwabstedt.
