Süderhöft ( Danish : Sønderhøft ) is a municipality on the Treene in the district of North Friesland in Schleswig-Holstein .

Süderhöft is about nine kilometers east of Friedrichstadt in a rural area. The Treene runs through the municipality. Bundesstraße 202 , which connects Friedrichstadt with Rendsburg , runs south of the municipality . Süderhöft is on the border between Marsch and Geest and borders the Stapelholm landscape .

history

On April 14, 1619, Meye Muhl from Süderhöft in Schwabstedt was burned as a witch.

On December 1, 1934, the parish district of Schwabstedt was dissolved. All of their villages, village communities and farmers became independent communities / rural communities, including Süderhöft.
