The Lehe District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Lehe .

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It included the Lehe office . The district court was subordinate to the Lehe Higher Court . In 1859 the Beverstedt District Court was dissolved and parts of its judicial district were assigned to the Lehe District Court. Also the District Court of Bederkesa was simultaneously dissolved and slammed into the Lehe District Court.

In 1864 the court was divided into the district courts of Lehe and Geestemünde . With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .

On October 9, 1942, the three district courts of Lehe, Geestemünde and Bremerhaven were combined to form the Wesermünde District Court (later renamed the Bremerhaven District Court ) and subordinated to the Verden District Court .
