Amy Hunt (born May 15, 2002 in Grantham ) is a British sprinter .

Athletic career

Amy Hunt gained her first international experience in 2018 when she made it to the semi-finals at the U18 European Championships in Győr in the 100-meter run , where she was eliminated with 11.83 seconds. The following year, she set a new U18 world record in the 200-meter run at the Junior Gala in Mannheim with 22.42 seconds , improving the old record of the American Candace Hill by 1 hundredth of a second. A short time later, she won the U20 European Championships in Borås in 22.94 s over 200 meters and in 44.11 s with the British 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 2020 Hunt became British indoor champion in the 60-meter run .
