Amy Sène

Amy Sène (born April 6, 1986 in Lorient ) is a Senegalese - French hammer thrower .

She has competed internationally for Senegal since 2010. In the same year she won the African Athletics Championships in Nairobi .

In 2011 she was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu and triumphed at the Africa Games in Maputo . In 2012 she defended her title at the African Championships in Porto-Novo , but did not get past the first round at the Olympic Games in London .

At the 2013 World Cup in Moscow, she failed again in qualifying. In 2014 she won silver at the African Championships in Marrakech and was sixth at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .

In 2015 she won silver at the Africa Games in Brazzaville .

On May 25, 2014, she set the current African record in Forbach with 69.70 m.
