Ana Beatriz Barros
Ana Beatriz Barros El Chiaty (born May 29, 1982 in Itabira ) is a Brazilian model .
Early years and family
Barros was born as the youngest daughter of the mechanical engineer Reinato Barros and his wife Sônia Barros. Her family later moved to Rio de Janeiro , where she spent most of her childhood. Barros is of Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese descent. She has two sisters; Patricia is also a model and Maria Luisa works as a dermatologist.
Model career
Barros and her older sister Patricia were discovered by the director of Elite Model Management , who was vacationing in Brazil. In 1996 she won the Brazilian Elite Look of the Year and came second in the International Elite Look of the Year . As a model, she was featured in the jeans advertising campaign for the Guess? known.
Barros had other advertising contracts with Victoria's Secret , Chanel and Jennifer Lopez 's clothing line JLo . She has appeared in shows such as Valentino's and has featured on the covers of magazines such as Vogue , Marie Claire and Allure . She has been under contract with the Elite Model Management agency since the beginning of her career .
