Ana Ristović
Ana Ristović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ана Ристовић , * 1972 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian poet , of whom a volume of poetry was published in German translation.
Life
Ana Ristović studied the Serbian language, literature and comparative literature in Belgrade. She has been publishing poetry since her youth and has received several awards for her poetry. So far, five volumes of her poetry have been published in Serbian. Her texts have been translated into several languages (German, English, Slovak, Macedonian, Slovenian, Polish, Bulgarian, Swedish and Finnish). German transmissions appeared in the magazines manuscripts , Akzente and Lichtungen , among others . In addition, a volume in German translation by Fabjan Hafner was published in 2007 by the Salzburger Verlag Jung und Jung under the title So dark, so bright . Ana Ristović also publishes essays and reviews and translates from Slovenian and Macedonian. In addition, she worked for several years as an editor for the cultural magazine Balcanis . Ana Ristović lived in Ljubljana from 1998 to 2004, and has lived and worked in Belgrade ever since. She is a member of the Serbian PEN Club.
