Anabela Cardoso

Anabela Maria Mourato Cardoso (* in Crato ) is a Portuguese former diplomat . Since the end of the 1990s she has mainly been concerned with parapsychological phenomena, in particular "instrumental transcommunication".

Live and act

Anabela Cardoso studied German at the University of Lisbon and agriculture at the Open University of Australia . From Roger Williams University in Bristol , Rhode Island, she was named "Doctor of Public Service" honoris causa .

Activity as a diplomat

Anabela Cardoso has worked in the Portuguese diplomatic service since 1976. In 1979 she was the first woman in Portugal to hold a diplomatic position outside the country's borders. She worked as consul in Providence , Rhode Island, counselor in New Delhi and chargé d' affaires a. i. in India, Counselor in Tokyo and Chargé d'Affaires a. i. in Japan, Consul General in Galicia and Consul General in Lyon . In Portugal, she was also head of the Institute for Asian Affairs at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Activity as a parapsychologist

Since 1997, Anabela Cardoso has been experimenting with parapsychological phenomena, in particular with “Instrumental Transcommunication” (ITC) for recording tape voices . Some of their results were obtained under controlled conditions and examined by well-known scientists such as the psychologist David Fontana , the former president of the Society for Psychical Research , and the physicist Ernst Senkowski . In 2000 Anabela Cardoso founded the ITC Journal and in 2005 the ITC Journal Research Center in Spain.

In 2011 she made herself available for the TV show Voices from the Beyond from the ProSieben Spezial series in order to record voices in an anechoic chamber in a targeted manner. The evaluation of the tapes by an audio technician and also by Anabela Cardoso herself did not yield any usable recordings.
