Anastasia Baranova (born April 23, 1989 in Moscow ) is a Russian - American actress .

Life

Anastasia Baranova was born in Moscow in 1989 and began modeling there as a child . She moved to Minnesota with her mother Ata in 1998 , where she continued to work as a model. In 2000 she moved on to California with her mother . In 2006 she completed her training as an actress at The Acting Corps . She currently lives in Los Angeles .

Four years after immigrating to the United States, Baranova appeared in her first speaking role in Lizzie McGuire , and in the same year she became the leading actress in Scout's Safari . Since 2014 she has played one of the leading roles in the Syfy television series Z Nation .
