Anastassija Filipawa ( Belarusian Анастасія Філіпава , Russian Анастасия Филиппова Anastassija Filippowa , English transcription : Anastasiya Filippova ; *  2002 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian billiards variant who competes in billiards .

In 2020 she became the Belarusian champion in the dynamic pyramid discipline .

Career

Russian billiards

Filipawa started taking part in tournaments in her hometown of Minsk at the age of eleven . She achieved her first successes in 2016 when she won the Minsk youth championship, among other things, and came second in the women's category after beating the former third place in the World Cup, Volha Dabryjan . In the same year she took part for the first time in the Belarusian Free Pyramid Championship for women, but was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In 2017 Filipawa won her first of a total of three national youth championship titles and made her World Cup debut at the Kremlin Cup , in which, however, she remained without a win. At the Belarusian women's championship in October, she reached the semi-finals, in which she narrowly lost to Wolha Dabryjan (3: 4). A few days later she was eliminated from the preliminary round when she first participated in the World Youth Championship . After she was eliminated in the preliminary round at the 2018 Youth World Cup , she finished third in the national championship in the combined pyramid .

In January 2019 she made it to the finals of a national championship for the first time in the same discipline, in which she had to admit defeat to world champion Kazjaryna Perepechayeva 3-0. The 2019 championship was held twice in the Free Pyramid and Filipawa made it to the semi-finals both times. In September she achieved her best result at a world cup tournament at the Kremlin Cup , when she defeated Evgenia Scheldina and Lyubow Schyhajlowa and reached the quarter-finals, in which she was defeated 0: 4 by Russian Kristina Guds . Shortly thereafter, she made it to the last eight at the World Youth Championship , where she lost to Jana Wassylowa .

In March 2020 Filipawa became the Belarusian champion for the first time in the dynamic pyramid discipline , after beating Wolha Dabryjan 4: 3 in the final.

Pool

Filipawa is also occasionally active in pool . In 2018 she took part in the Belarusian youth championship and came third in the 8-ball discipline .
