Anat Atzmon

Anat Atzmon (born November 27, 1958 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli actress and singer .

Life

She comes from a family of actors and after completing her military service in 1977 at the age of 18, she took on the role of Nili in the youth comedy Popsicle , which made her known to a wider audience and marked her breakthrough. From 1989 to 2003 she was married to Dan Turgeman, who in the 8th episode of popsicles plays series the leader of a motorcycle gang. She has two children with him. In 1992 she reached the 6th place with the song Hatikva in the Israeli preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . Her second music album "Lila Kar VeDmut Alma" (1992) was a commercial failure and from then on Atzmon focused again on acting. In 1993, she played with Turgeman, Zachi Noy and Yiftach Katzur (also directed by) in a pilot of a popsicle series entitled "Lemonade". This series was never realized.
