Anatoly Ivanovich Lipinsky

Anatoli Ivanovich Lipinski ( Russian Анатолий Иванович Липинский ; born June 7, 1959 in Noginsk , Moscow Oblast ) is a Russian rear admiral i. R. He was the commander of the Leningrad Naval Base (2006–2009) and the Novorossiysk Naval Base (2009–2010).

Life

Lipinski graduated from the Caspian Red Banner Officers College of the Naval Forces SM Kirov in 1981 and began his military career in the Northern Fleet as a combat section commander for navigation (GA-1). He was then used as the first officer and from 1985 to 1990 as the commander of a small submarine hunter . After graduating from the Naval War Academy NG Kuznetsov in 1993, he served in the Pacific Fleet as commander of the destroyer of the Kriwak class Retiwy , as first officer and from 1996 to 1998 as commander of the missile cruiser Varyag . From 1998 to 2001 he was employed as the chief of staff of a ship division, from 2001 to 2004 as the commander of a landing ship brigade and from 2004 to 2006 as the commander of the Sovetskaya Gavan military district . In November 2006 he became the commander of the Leningrad military base. Lipinski was appointed commander of the Novorossiysk Naval Base on July 17, 2009. In the Russian media, his name was often present in connection with commercial activities on military berths. A connection with the instruction to his new job was denied. On September 21, 2010, he was released into retirement for reasons of age.

Lipinski has been working as a lawyer since 2010 after graduating from the St. Petersburg Law Academy . He is married and has a daughter and two sons.
