Anders Dreyer (born May 2, 1998 in Bramming ) is a Danish football player .

Career

Dreyer started his career at Esbjerg fB . In May 2015 he was in the professional squad for the first time against FC Nordsjælland . He made his professional debut in the Superliga in April 2017 when he came on for Awer Mabil in the 72nd minute in the relegation round match against Randers FC .

He scored his first goal in the Superliga in the same month in a 3-1 win over AC Horsens . At the end of the 2016/17 season he had to relegate to the 1st division with the club .

He made his debut in Denmark's second division in July 2017 against FC Fredericia . In the game that Esbjerg won 2-1, Dreyer scored a goal. At the end of the season he had 31 missions in the 1st division, in which he was able to achieve 18 hits, to book. This made him top scorer in the second Danish division. In addition, he rose with his club after winning relegation against Silkeborg IF again in the super league. After losing the first leg 1-0, they won the second leg 3-0, with Dreyer scoring all three goals.

In August 2018 he moved to Brighton & Hove Albion in England . After not playing for Brighton, he was loaned to FC St. Mirren in Scotland in January 2019 and to SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands for the entire 2019/20 season in August 2019 . The loan contract was terminated on January 6, 2020 and Anders Dreyer finally left Brighton & Hove Albion to join FC Midtjylland in his native Denmark . In Herning in central Jutland, where FC Midtjylland plays its home games, he signed a contract until June 30, 2024.

National team

Dreyer made his debut against Georgia for Denmark's U-17 selection in August 2014 . In that game he also scored the goal to make it 1-0.

In March 2016 he played his first game for the U-18 team against Hungary . He made his debut for the U-19 team in January 2017 when he started a friendly against Cyprus and was replaced by Carlo Holse at half-time .

In October 2017, he played against Sweden for the first time for Denmark's U-20 team .

In September 2018 he made his active debut against Finland for the U-21 team .
