Anders Lindqvist (born June 5, 1972 in Eskilstuna ) is a former Swedish handball player .
The 1.99 m tall and 95 kg heavy goalkeeper became Swedish junior champion in 1989 with IF Guif . With the club from Eskilstuna he also made his debut in the Elitserien . In 1996 he moved to the Norwegian club Drammen HK , with which he became Norwegian champion in 1997 . In 1998 he returned to Sweden and signed with the Stockholm club Polisen / Söder. He later played with Djurgårdens IF .
Anders Lindqvist made his debut in the Swedish national team in 1991 and played 23 caps until 1998 . At the European Championship in 1998 he was European champion.
