The Andersensåta is a large and 1036 m high mountain in the northeast of the Fimbulheimen in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises south of the Schirmacher oasis in the western part of the Lingetoppane .
The mountain is named after the Norwegian Sverre Kristoffer Andersen (1914–1986), a highly decorated veteran of the Second World War .
