AndiOliPhilipp is a rock and german punk band from Bad Wimpfen .
history
The three musicians born in 1983, who later gave the band their name, met during their school days at Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium in Bad Wimpfen and have appeared in the band Spoilt since 1999 and from 2003 as The Fun faction in changing line- ups . In 2008 the band changed their name to AndiOliPhilipp and recorded their first album Dein Radio . With their first single, Mutter Theresa , released in December 2008, the band took 4th place in 2009 on MTVrookie on the music channel MTV . The clip for their second single, a new recording of the album title track Dein Radio , was shown from November 2009 to February 2010 on the weekly TV show “MTV Rockzone”. Model Monica Ivancan plays the lead female role in the clip .
As part of the Coca-Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour , the band played as one of three finalists in Berlin at the Brandenburg Gate in October 2009 at the festivities for the Day of German Unity in front of over 500,000 spectators. In March 2010, the band won the PLAY LIVE Band Award 2009 from the Popbüro Baden-Württemberg at the European Media and Event Academy in Baden-Baden . The band has also hosted an episode of the music magazine Yagaloo .
In addition to mainly regional concerts, the band was at the Rock am Ring , Hurricane , Melt! and see Highfield . In 2010 the band performed at the Southside Festival, among others .
On October 24, 2011 it was announced that drummer Andreas Huck is leaving the band and will be replaced by Sascha.
In August 2013, the band announced that they would split up at the end of the year. The farewell concert took place on December 14, 2013 in her hometown Bad Wimpfen. On November 21, 2015 the band gave a concert in Bad Rappenau after a two-year break. That was the only one after their official separation in 2013. The band left it open whether further concerts will follow.
On July 17, 2017, the band returned and presented their new drummer Stukki. In addition, the band announced a live album, which should be financed through Startnext. The funding target was reached on September 28, 2017 and the live album will be released in spring 2018.
