Monica Jasminka Meier-Ivancan ( Croatian Monica Jasminka Ivančan ; born July 2, 1977 in Stuttgart ) is a German model of Croatian descent.

Career

Ivancan graduated from secondary school in 1992. This was followed by training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk .

Ivancan has been working as a model since 1997 . From 2001 onwards she appeared in the men's magazines FHM , GQ , Maxim , Playboy and the Italian Fox uomo . Ivancan was part of various advertising campaigns, including from Barilla , Swisscom , Triumph , New Yorker , Nivea and Volkswagen .

A larger audience Ivancan was the RTL telecast Bachelorette - The dream woman known in which they appeared as "Bachelorette" from November of 2004.

In the children's film Blöde Mütze! Presented at the Berlinale 2007 . she played a supporting role . From 2006 to 2009 she was seen in a supporting role as “Kitty Kübler” in the ARD soap opera Verbotene Liebe .

Up until mid-2008, Ivancan was involved in the sometimes massively criticized ProSieben documentary soap The Model and the Freak , as was her friend Jana Ina as a presenter and life “coach”. In the reality documentary Jana Ina & Giovanni - We are pregnant and Jana Ina & Giovanni - Pizza, Pasta & Amore , Ivancan was seen several times. In October 2009 she released her fitness DVD Back to Basic , in which she presented her first own fitness program.

In 2010 she undressed for the March issue of the men's magazine Playboy . Ivancan also played the vampire bride in Eko Fresh's music video Queen of the Night and caused a sensation when she reenacted a scene from the novel with Harald Schmidt on the show of the same name on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the tin drum and licked woodruff powder from her belly button let. The action was also seen as a swipe at Ivan's long-time partner Oliver Pocher , after his collaboration with Schmidt had ended the previous year. She was only introduced by her first name as a volunteer who was supposedly randomly selected from the audience.

Private

From 2005 to 2009 Ivancan was in a relationship with Oliver Pocher .

She has been with the financial entrepreneur Christian Meier since 2012. After their wedding in June 2013, she changed her last name to Meier-Ivancan . The two have two children together, born in May 2013 and April 2016.

Her sister Miriam Mack, who is six years younger than her, is also a model. She became known through her marriage to Michael Mack from the family that runs Europa-Park Rust .
