André Middelhoek

André Middelhoek (born December 13, 1931 in Voorburg , Netherlands ) is a Dutch civil servant and was President of the European Court of Auditors from 1977 to 1996 .

He has been married since 1982 and has two children.

career

From 1957 to 1966 Middelhoek was an employee of the "Centraal Planbureau", from 1966 to 1969 its deputy director and from 1969 to 1977 general director of "Rijksbegroting" in the Dutch Ministry of Finance .

From 1977 to 1993 he was a member of the Court of Auditors of the EC and from 1993 to 1996 President of the Court of Auditors.
