André Routis
André Routis (* 16th July 1900 in Bordeaux , France ; † 16th July 1969 ) was a French boxer in the spring and bantamweight .

In 1919 he won his first two professional fights. In his third fight he only reached a draw. He lost his fourth fight over 10 rounds by unanimous decision.
On September 28, 1928, he captured both the world championship belt of the association NYSAC and the association NBA as well as the universal world title when he defeated Tony Canzoneri in New York City over 15 rounds by unanimous decision. On September 23, 1929 he lost this title to Battling Battalino . After another bankruptcy in November of the same year, Routis ended his career.
