Andrés Fernández , full name Andrés Pablo Fernández Rizzo , (born August 21, 1986 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.84 meter tall defensive player Fernández was at the beginning of his career from the Apertura 2006 to July 2011 in the roster of Central Español . Among other things, 23 (no goal) and 29 (three goals) first division appearances were recorded for him in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons. He then moved to Danubio FC . There he ran 30 times in the Primera División in the 2011/12 season and scored one goal. After nine other first division appearances in the 2012/13 season without a personal scoring, he joined Central Español again in February 2013 as part of a loan and played the 2013 Clausura with the first division club. He completed nine league games (no goal) and rose at the end of the season with Team to the Segunda División . For a few weeks he returned to Danubio after relegation, but then left the club in late August 2013 for Central Español. In the 2013/14 season he was used in ten second division games and scored one goal. In March 2014, he moved to the Chinese club Hebei Zhongji . Since mid-January 2015 he was in the ranks of the Guatemalan club CSD Municipal . Central Español was named as the donating association. With the Guatemalans he ran 17 times (no goal) in the Liga Nacional and was runner-up with the club in the 2014/15 season. In late July 2015, he returned to Uruguay and joined the first division club El Tanque Sisley . In the 2015/16 season he played eleven first division matches (no goal). At the beginning of August 2016, he moved to Club Atlético Torque .

National team

Fernández was at least in June 2007 a member of the U-23 team of Uruguay, supervised by Roland Marcenaro .
