Andrascz Weigoni

Andrascz Jaromir Weigoni (born January 18, 1958 in Budapest , Hungary ) is a Hungarian and German-speaking writer .

Life

Weigoni, who studied media education at the University of Düsseldorf from 1979 to 1984 , has been active as an author of essays, poetry, prose and radio plays since 1975 . Poems (which have also been translated into English, Korean, Romanian and Russian) and essays have been published in numerous anthologies, literary magazines and artist books. Weigoni produced a series of radio plays for the Westphalian State Theater and the WDR (including the live radio play "Oden to the Souls of the Future / The enthusiastic poetry of Empress Elisabeth"). With poetic performances Weigoni a. a. in Vienna (Alte Schmiede), Berlin (Literarisches Colloquium), Hamburg (Literaturhaus), Cologne (Filmdose) and Düsseldorf (Kom (m) ödchen). As a literary pedagogue, he led radio play seminars (including 'Ohryeure' and 'Bringing up ...').
