Andrea Bleicher

Andrea Bleicher (* 1974 ) is a Swiss journalist .

Life

Bleicher initially trained as a bookseller and attended the Ringier Journalism School in Zurich in 1997/98 .

She then worked as a reporter for the tabloid Blick . In 2000 she became a reporter and editor for the commuter newspapers 20 Minuten and Metropol . From 2002 to 2007 she worked as a national editor for the SonntagsZeitung . She then headed the news department at Blick . From 2010 she was head of the news department of the integrated newsroom of the Blick Group. In 2013, she became editor-in-chief ad interim as the first woman of the Blick . Your removal by the media company Ringierwas discussed supraregionally in German-speaking countries. From 2014 until the end of 2017 she was deputy editor-in-chief at the SonntagsZeitung . She and a colleague have been running a storytelling agency since 2018 .

She is the mother of two children from a previous partnership. Her partner is the journalist Rolf Cavalli .
