Andrea Branzi
Andrea Branzi (born November 30, 1938 in Florence ) is an Italian architect and designer .
life and work
Andrea Branzi studied architecture in his native city of Florence. In 1966 he founded the Archizoom -Associati with Paolo Deganello , Gilberto Corretti and Massimo Morozzi . The group is considered to be the founder of anti-design . In 1975 Branzi co-founded the CDM organization with Ettore Sottsass and Alessandro Mendini and then became a member of Studio Alchimia . Branzi helped found the Domus Academy in 1982 and published Modo magazine from 1983 to 1987 .
Since 1967 he has been involved in experimental and industrial design, architecture, urban planning, training and cultural promotion. He is a professor at the Milan Polytechnic .
As an architect and designer, Andrea Branzi realized many projects for clients such as Alessi, Artemide, Danese and Zanotta.
