Andrea Cassato

Andrea Cassato (born November 27, 1833 in Sant'Eufemia ( Tricase municipality ), Italy ; † May 1, 1913 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Otranto .

Life

Andrea Cassato received on 20 September 1856, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 24, 1898, Pope Leo XIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Ionopolis and auxiliary bishop in Otranto. The Archbishop of Otranto, Gaetano Caporali CPPS , donated him episcopal ordination on May 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Gallipoli , Enrico Carfagnini OFM , and the bishop of Ugento , Luigi Pugliese .
