Titular diocese of Ionopolis

Ionopolis ( Italian : Gionopoli ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a submerged diocese of the ancient and Byzantine city of Abonuteichos (later Ionopolis, now İnebolu) in the Paphlagonia region of Asia Minor on the Black Sea coast of today's Turkey, which was a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Gangra .
