Andrea Del Boca (* 18th October 1965 in Buenos Aires as Andrea Del Boca Castro ) is an Argentine actress and singer . She is one of the most famous actresses in her homeland and mainly plays leading roles in telenovelas .

Life

Del Boca's father is the Argentinian director Nicolás Del Boca. She had her first television appearance at the age of four as a deaf and mute in the television series "Nuestra galleguita". Her father was against a career in show business, but with the help of her mother, she managed to gain a foothold as an actress. At the age of four she played her first leading role in the film "Jugar a morir" (Cristina). Her breakthrough came in the role of Pinina in the telenovela "Papa Corazon". She worked at the theater and in film a. a. with Hilda Bernard , Norma Aleandro , Luis Brandoni , Adrián Suar , Luisina Brando and Analía Gade . On television, she worked with fellow actors Patricia Castell and Nelly Prono . In 1998 she graduated from New York University with a degree in directing . In addition to her acting career, she was also successful as a singer. In the 1970s she sang the theme songs of the productions in which she starred several times. She released three solo albums in the 1980s and 1990s .

Little is known about the private life of Del Bocas, as she shields herself and her family from the public. She is single and has a daughter.
