Andrea Di Robilant (screenwriter)

Andrea Di Robilant (born January 23, 1899 in Venice , † August 10, 1977 in Rome ) was an Italian screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Di Robilant came from a noble family and carried the title of Count . From 1940 to 1942 he turned to writing some treatments and scripts; he also appeared as an occasional producer. In 1943 he directed a single film, Canal Grande , which he made with Cesco Baseggio and which became known due to some color sequences. After that, Di Robilant left the world of film to return as a producer between 1949 and 1952.
