Andrea Glasauer

Andrea Glasauer (born September 15, 1983 in Speyer ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Günter Glasauer's daughter was a German national youth player, in 2002 she took part in the U20 European Championship. She attended the Theodor-Heuss Gymnasium in Freiburg . From the 2000/2001 season she played with USC Freiburg in the 1st women's basketball division . In 2003, the 1.85-meter-long winger went to the United States , played at Northwestern University (State of Illinois ) and studied biology . In the 2006/07 season Glasauer was captain of Northwestern University and scored 12.8 points per encounter. She embarked on a scientific career, dealt with cancer research , completed a doctoral thesis at Northwestern University and started working for Bayer Pharma AG in Berlin in 2013 .
