Andrea Rauber Saxer

Andrea Rauber Saxer (* 1968 in Brugg , Switzerland ) is a Swiss diplomat and has been the Swiss Confederation's ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina since 2016 .

Career

Andrea Rauber Saxer grew up in Brugg , Switzerland . From 1994 to 1996 she studied international law and diplomacy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University . From 1995 to 1996 she was also enrolled at the University Institute for International Studies and Development in Geneva. From 2005 to 2008 she worked at the Federal Office for Civil Aviation and coordinated, among other things, aircraft noise discussions with Germany. Andrea Rauber Saxer later worked as a foreign policy advisor to the Swiss Federal Councilors Hans-Rudolf Merz and Doris Leuthard . From 2011 to 2015 she worked as Deputy Head of the Swiss Permanent Mission to the OSCE and other international organizations.

She has been the ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Bosnia-Herzegovina since 2016 . She lives in Sarajevo .
