Andrea Giacomo Secchiero (born January 25, 1988 in Milan ) is an Italian triathlete . He is a seven-time national champion in aquathlon (2007-2017), aquathlon world champion U23 (2009) and triathlon national champion sprint distance (2011).

Career

In 2006 he finished fourth at the Junior European Duathlon Championships.

The policeman Andrea Secchiero became the national aquathlon champion in 2007 and he was able to achieve this title six more times by 2017.

In May 2009 he was Duathlon Vice European Champion U23 behind his compatriot Alessandro Fabian . In September he became the U23 aquathlon world champion in Australia.

Andrea Secchiero became Italian triathlon champion on the sprint distance in Rimini in 2011.

In 2017 and 2018 he won the Kalterer See Triathlon and in May 2019 he finished second for the third time after 2012 and 2013.
In July 2019, the 31-year-old became Vice-European Aquathlon Champion in Romania.
