Andreas Artur Reichelt (* 1977 ) is a German writer .

life and work

Andreas Artur Reichelt is the youngest son of Manfred Reichelt (1947–1996), a popular Bavarian painter. Reichelt later dealt with the early, alcohol-related death of his father and the difficult family circumstances in his self-published short story chain of events . Reichelt completed training as a masseur and worked in spa facilities in Bad Füssing . In 2018 he completed training as a video journalist at Niederbayern TV Passau .

Besides his work he painted. In 2009 he started working on a novel in the spa environment. He aimed at older people as a target group. Reichelt self- published season releases in 2015 at Epubli . The following year the book was published by Wellhöfer Verlag . This was followed by the sequel with the same protagonists, titled Haderlump , again in self-publishing, in the following year at Acabus Verlag . In February 2018, the third part of the novel series was published with the title Brezensalzer . This partly takes place on Sylt . In 2019, the author's first historical novel, Der Sohn des Hofmarksrichters , was published by Gmeiner Verlag . In the same year, the English translation of the novel Evil appeared under the title Up the creek: a quirky comedy. In 2020 the author and a friend will publish the book da. sein.leben. from Wreaders Verlag.

The author publishes side projects and children's books mainly on the self-publishing platform Twentysix .
