Andreas Baum (writer)
Andreas Baum (born 1967 in Göttingen ) is a German writer and journalist .
Life
Baum grew up in Nairobi and Witzenhausen ( Northern Hesse ). He studied journalism and Latin American studies in Berlin and Mexico City and, as Uncle Andi, co-founded the kitchen radio podcast . He is also a lecturer at the media science faculty at the University of Siegen .
He lives in Berlin and works as an editor and author for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Deutschlandfunk .
Fonts
We were the new time ( Rowohlt , 2016) is his first novel . The short story Der Dienst was also published in 2018 in the online anthology of the North Hessian Authors' Prize An der Grenz .
