Andreas Blum (born February 21, 1938 ) is a Swiss radio journalist and former director of the Swiss Radio DRS (1979–1999).

After studying history and philosophy in Munich, Bern and Basel, Blum joined SRG in 1967 . From 1975 to 1979 he was a member of the National Council for the SP .

Andreas Blum was u. a. seen as an actor in the television series Salto Mortale and has hosted numerous, in some cases sensational, programs on Swiss television, such as Telebühne . This attempted to reflect the current zeitgeist in a critical and controversial manner. Blum began working as an actor in the late 1950s and was mainly seen in television productions until 1972. One of his few movies is the literary film adaptation of Ms. Cheney's End (1961). In summer 2011 he played the title role in the musical Gotthelf at the Thuner Seespiele .

Part-time commitment Blum were: Member of the Action Committee of Bread for Brothers , president of the Swiss section of Amnesty International , a member of the Human Rights Commission of Swiss Protestant Churches , 1985-1990 President of Swissaid until mid-2006 president of the finance commission of Swiss Solidarity and from 2001 to 2007 Board member of Exit (Switzerland) , responsible for communication.

Blum has three grown children and is a third marriage.
