Andreas Christian Odebrecht (Mayor)
Andreas Christian Odebrecht (born July 11, 1716 ; † March 1, 1791 ) was a German politician and mayor of Greifswald .
Andreas (III.) Christian Odebrecht was a son of Andreas (II.) Odebrecht, pastor in Groß Kiesow , and his second wife Christina Dorothea Gletzel († 1765), a pastor's daughter from Ranzin . In 1748 he became a councilor and from 1774 a lawyer mayor of Greifswald.
Andreas Christian Odebrecht married his cousin Marie Elisabeth Wilde, daughter of the mayor Friedrich Detlof Wilde. His son Andreas Christian Odebrecht (1756-1831) was judge at the Higher Appeal Court . The younger son Johann Hermann Odebrecht (1757-1821) became mayor of Greifswald.
