Career

After training in gastronomy , Andreas Christl started working for the radio station Antenne Bayern in 2010 , initially in the editorial office and from the beginning of 2013 also as a presenter. Together with Kristina Hartmann , he hosted the show Die Junge Wilden every Friday evening in 2014 , which was awarded the German Radio Prize in the category Best Show in the year it was launched. In 2015, the award-winning broadcast concept was expanded. In “The young wild ones - your evening from eight”, Christl, together with colleague Julia Gumpp, presented the daily evening program on Antenne Bayern.

He was editor and presenter of the "Antenne Bayern Schmankerlshow". In 2013, the broadcaster published the associated cookbook in J. Berg Verlag.

Christl also developed the weekly column “the white and blue weekly review” and was on the road for several years as Upper Bavaria correspondent for Antenne Bayern in the Free State.

In 2016 he worked for the non-profit internet broadcaster Radio BUH . Together with Stefan Dettl and Evi Dettl, he took care of maintaining Bavarian culture, music and language in the radio landscape.

In January 2017 he switched to Bayerischer Rundfunk , where he acts as a presenter for the pop wave Bayern 3 and the youth radio pulse .

On Bayern 3 he was a regular presenter in the program “Spätschicht”, which was produced in cooperation with Puls. At the end of December 2018, the "late shift" was discontinued.

From January 2019 Christl was part of the permanent team of the Bayern 3 evening program “Mensch, Bayern!”. He was an external reporter in different regions of Bavaria and reported on certain topics and unusual stories. Brigitte Theile was moderator in the studio. In 2020 “Mensch, Bayern!” Was restructured. An outside reporter is no longer switched on during the current program. Instead, the reports are produced beforehand and imported from the studio by the moderator.

He occasionally moderates the show “Through the Night” on Bayern 3. Sometimes he also moderates the “Bayern 3 Abendshow”, which is broadcast irregularly and deviating from the regular evening program, for example during holiday periods.
